As the EGINA FPSO finally sailed to its permanent offshore base where it’s estimated to increase Nigeria’s crude oil production capacity by 208,000 barrels per day, Fortune Global can take pride in her own contribution to this giant stride. Recall that in June 2017, Fortune Global was pivotal to the design, planning, execution of the transportation and delivery of Steel Structures (Riser Porches required for the integration/fabrication of the EGINA FPSO Vessel) from Nigerdock Free Zone to SHI-MCI/LADOL Free Zone, in collaboration with SAL Heavy Lift GMBH, six days before the designated timeline. It’s also worthy to note that in the past couple of years, Fortune Global delivered over 600 TEUs and important equipment in support of this project.
The most recent stroke of genius remains the masterly handling of the inward/outward clearance and logistics of the EGINA FPSO (Floating, Production, Storage and Offloading) which arrived for Nigeria for final integration/fabrication work at SHI-MCI QUAY, LADOL Free Zone, on January 24, 2018 and sailed to its permanent base at OML 130 – 150 Kilometers off the shores of Port-Harcourt on August 26, 2018, following the completion of integration/fabrication work.
