Fortune Global Performs the Inward Clearance of the Abigail-Joseph FPSO
Lagos: July 29, 2020
It was another stride of accomplishment for the Management and Staff of Fortune Global Shipping & Logistics, following a successful in-country clearance of the Floating, Production, Storage, and Offloading (FPSO) vessel, code-named Abigail-Joseph, on behalf of First E & P Company Limited.
The FPSO is 79, 902 ton, and 268.22 meters long vessel, with a 16-meter draft. It is self-propelled with 11 cargo storage tanks, 2 slop tanks, and 6 dedicated water ballast tanks including fore and aft peak tanks. With the capacity to produce up to 50, 000 barrels per day and 550,000 storage capacity, the FPSO will be operated from its final abode on Anyala and Madu oil field at OML 83 and 85, off the coast of Bayelsa by Yinson on behalf of First E&P.
Just as it was with the EGINA FPSO, Fortune Global posted another signature performance with its expert handling of logistics operations of the First E & P Abigail-Joseph FPSO – including documentation, Temporary Import (TI) processing, inward clearance from all authorities.
Reacting to this excellent performance, the General Manager, Mr. Jude Ngwaba had this to say:
“On behalf of the Management and Staff of Fortune Global, I appreciate First E & P for the opportunity to serve on this project. I thank them especially for the confidence they have in us – even in the face of formidable competition. Overall, our performance on this project further shows our capacity to handle expedited logistics processes and facilitate the technical requirements for seamless delivery on not just this project alone, but other turnkey logistics operations is a well-established fact. We are positioned for more projects and we will continue to deliver excellently.”
The completion of this project is a show in consistency, experience, expertise, and capacity to handle complex logistics challenges and produce a delightful outcome for project owners.
